August 24-26, 2007. We visit Kenny, Rachel and Sophie for a relaxing weekend of great food, drinks and friends. And i took lots of baby pictures.

8.17.07. i went to Bethany’s to watch the kids while Bill and Bethany got out of the house and went to a party. The big kids were very keen on having their pictures taken, and i promised them i would put them on my Flickr page.

8.12.07. When Cecelia got a promotion that sent her to Houston, we couldn’t let her get away without having a shindig to show her how much we’ll miss her. We got together at La Madeleine’s to eat, chat and give her hug goodbye.

Here are some pictures of Dad when he was a new father in his early 30’s. These pics are either of him, or were almost certainly taken my him, judging from the subject matter.

8.4.07. i had to work that afternoon, but i went over before the party to hang out, help get ready, and take some pictures of the birthday boy and pre-party preparations. Adam was looking forward to swimming and having a water balloon fight.

8.3.07. Alan, Michael and i went to see The Asylum Street Spankers give their best performance i’ve yet witnessed. The venue was new to us and we really enjoyed it. It was a small place in Denton, very laid back, and we got to sit up close. The crowd was really into it and there was lots of good energy. We also ran into a friend of Alan’s who was very cool to hang out with.
