01.25.08–01.27.08. Kenny, Rachel and Sophie spent the weekend with us. It was a laid back visit. We mostly hung out at the house, cooked and ate a lot of food, drank a lot of alcohol, watched movies and giggled at Sophie.

1.19.08. Since we had so many January birthdays (Michael, Becca, Nessa, Amy and Felicia just to name a few), Nessa and Felicia put together a dinner at Al Amir, a great middle-eastern nightclub in Dallas. It was great to see everyone! Happy Birthday also to Cecelia (who now lives out of town) and Caitrin (who will be turning one this month.)

1.17.08. We attended the official ribbon cutting ceremony for our friend Aislin’s new office as she begins her career as a chiropractor. Friends, family, business people and city officials turned out for the occasion. And they actually had a ribbon to cut and oversize scissors!

01.04.08. Our friend Greg plays in an Irish Band, Paddy Gone Wild, and we finally made it out to hear them perform. They can be found most every Friday night at the Tipperary Inn, this great Irish pub in Dallas. There are quite a few band members, as you can see. i only caught one or two names.
