07.30.08. My musician friend Alan has a new oud (a kind of fretless, middle-eastern lute.) And i have a new iphone with a camera function. We are both geeked out with our new toys. i suppose the result was inevitable.

07.19.08. Joel graciously invited us over for food, music, smoke and frolicking. We indulged in a goodly amount of all of the above. i love our friends.

You’ll have to ask Joel about his “longhouse.”

07.18.08. Greg and Cindy were kind enough to invite us to their housewarming party. We ate great food, smoked yummy hookah, played Rock Band and various actual, acoustic instruments. It was fun!

07.17.08. Since Dad had a doctor’s appointment outside of the nursing home, he was up in chair for the first time in months. i took the opportunity to take a few shots with different angles and lighting. The new pictures are at the end of the Flickr set.

07.04.08. At the last minute, the family descended on Mom and Stan’s for a cookout and tractor rides.
