09.27.08. We attended a hafla (a kind of dance recital for belly dancers) to hear our friend Alan play the oud for the first time in public. He and his fellow musicians played a famous middle-eastern song “Hadouni Hadouni” quite well. i hadn’t intended to photograph the dancers, but then one of them started spinning glow-in-the-dark poi (google it!) and i couldn’t NOT take pictures…

09.20.08. Greg and Cindy had a get together at their place. It was smallish, relaxed and intimate. We ate, drank, talked and made music. What fun!

09.14.08. They’re three already! Wow!

09.01.08. Michael and i spent part of the day wandering around Southlake Town Square, taking random pictures. These are the ones i like best. A very relaxing day!

08.31.08. So, i’m back in school to get my bachelor’s degree and am taking a nutrition class. My assignment was to spend a day eating exactly what my classmate, a guy in his early twenties, ate on a given day. He’d eaten chicken wings. Thus, i had to eat chicken wings. So i figured i’d make a field trip out of it.
