Christmas at the Henze House 2008
12.25.08. i had work Christmas day, but made it to my sister’s in the late afternoon for a Christmas dinner, hanging out with the family, watching WALL-E, kids, and lots of desserts!
Christmas with Dad at Heartland
12.23.08. We had Christmas brunch at Heartland with Dad a couple of days before Christmas. The room was full of kids!

16th wedding anniversary
12.19.08. We spent the day together, Christmas shopping and such. We went for a late breakfast at what may well become a new favorite, Main Street Cafe in Keller. Later that night, we went to St. Emilion in Fort Worth, the first French Restaurant i have ever tried. It was very French, but not so intimidating as i had imagined it might be.

winter trees
12.14.08. On my way home from the Tea, i spied these trees under a streetlight in an empty parking lot. i thought they looked cool and i had my camera with me, so i stopped and snapped a few shots. i played around with contrast and colors and effects. This was fun.
Holiday Tea 2008
12.14.08. Sheri graciously hosted our annual, now traditional Holiday Tea again this year. She outdid herself and spoiled us all with decadent food and gifts. We spent a wonderful afternoon in the company of great friends. How Christmas-y!
Weekend with Kenny and Rachel
12.12-14.08. Kenny and Rachel came up to visit for another famously low-key weekend. i went predictably nuts with the camera and all us grown ups were merely foils for the divine Miss Sophie Jane.

Asylum Street Spankers at The Granada
12.05.08. This was a great show! The Spankers were double billed at The Granada with Guy Forsyth. This is second set of pictures from the evening. i really dig this band, and getting good pictures of them performing makes me that much happier. You’ve never seen anything quite like the Spankers. If you haven’t seen the them, YOU SHOULD.
Guy Forsyth at The Granada
12.05.08. This was a great show! Guy Forsyth was double billed at The Granada with the Asylum Street Spankers. These are both two of my favorites and it was a treat to see them perform on the same stage. Michael and i went with Alan and Jerry. AND i got to take pictures of some of my favorite musicians with all the stage lighting, which made things extra interesting. i’ve split them into two sets.

More Leaves
12.04.08. i’ve been entertaining myself taking pictures of more fall color and will inflict my nerdiness on the world without shame.
