02.20.09. Sheri and i went for a walk in woods. She very thoughtfully allowed me to take some pictures of her. Isn’t she pretty?

02.08.09. We went out to see Andy McKee, the most memorable acoustic guitar player i have ever heard. It’s the first time he’s ever come to Dallas. i like my pictures, but, of course, you can’t HEAR him! All that music coming from one man and one guitar. YouTube him! He’s amazing.

02.08.09. We had an afternoon birthday shindig at Mom and Stan’s with Mom’s perennial favorites: pizza and poker. And, of course, dogs and grandkids.

02.07.09. It is almost Hayden’s birthday. As his party is Sunday evening when i can’t make it, i decided to pay him an early visit and give him his gift. His brothers and a multitude of visiting neighbor children made sure he had all the coaching and support he needed to open his gift. He’s getting so big and speaks so clearly! Today was Judith’s birthday as well. We took her to lunch though, alas, the event went un-photographed. 

On my way home, i spied a children’s moon high in the sky as the sun started to set. i took some shots, some of which turned out a little strange as i ran amok with the post-processing.
